The face behind The Brainy Baby Club…

Hi, I’m Izzy.

I’m a mum, and I’m the person behind The Brainy Baby Club - from the way the sessions feel, to the pacing, the materials, and the atmosphere created in the room.

This idea came from my own experience of early parenthood.

I loved the idea of baby classes, but often found myself wishing for something calmer, slower, and a little more considered - a space that felt good to walk into, not overwhelming.

I wanted something that respected babies as capable little people, and parents as whole humans too.

Motherhood was the craziest and loneliest experience I’ve ever gone through…

The earliest months of a baby’s life are full of change - beautiful, intense, and often VERY exhausting.

I created The Brainy Baby Club as a response to that.

  • A place to pause during the week.

  • A place where babies aren’t rushed from one activity to the next.

  • A place where parents don’t have to perform, keep up, or pretend they’re coping better than they are.

Every session is designed to be calm, thoughtful and unhurried - allowing babies to explore in their own way, and parents to settle into the experience alongside them.

Most importantly - a place to be YOU alongside other mum’s who are going through this crazy journey together, too.

How I go about things…

I’m not here to entertain babies or tell parents what to do.

I design sessions around how babies naturally learn - through movement, light, texture, sound and repetition - and then hold the space gently while they explore.

Some weeks are quiet. Some are wiggly. Some involve feeding, changing or settling halfway through.

All of it is welcome.

My role is simply to guide the rhythm of the session, keep the environment calm, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and included.

A little more personally…

I know how vulnerable those early months can feel - especially when you’re walking into new spaces with a tiny human in your arms.

The Brainy Baby Club is intentionally small and personal for that reason. I want it to feel familiar, safe, and friendly from the moment you arrive.

If you come along, you’ll be met exactly where you are - no pressure, no expectations, no need to be anything other than a parent doing their best.

The Brainy Baby Club is as much about connection as it is about sensory play — and I’m glad you’re here.
