A four-week sensory journey for babies — and the people raising them.
Calm, considered experiences for curious little minds and parents who want something more. Located in Burnley, Lancashire.
The Brainy Baby Club is a place to slow down during the busiest stage of early parenthood.
A weekly moment to arrive, settle, and spend time together - without rushing, noise, or expectations.
A space designed to feel calm, grounding, and quietly special.
Not just a baby class.
A weekly ritual.
Set in a beautiful place…
Our sessions take place at Finsley Gate Wharf in Burnley - a light-filled, calm venue that gives us space to slow down and breathe.
The venue is a personal favourite of ours, with space to stay a little longer - to chat with other parents, grab a coffee, or sit by the water before heading on with your day.
The journey…
Our term is carried out over four carefully designed sessions.
Rather than one-off themes, the weeks connect - gradually building from light into texture, shared experience and familiarity.
It’s a rhythm you grow into together.
Sessions are intentionally kept small, with a limited number of places per term.
This allows the pace to stay calm, the space to feel unhurried, and each baby to explore without being overwhelmed.
When a term reaches capacity, bookings close.
A small group, by design.
A small group, by design.
Is this for you?
You’re craving something calmer than the usual baby class
You want to spend time with your baby, not rush them through songs and activities
You’d like to meet other parents without forced interaction
You appreciate thoughtful design and slower moments
Why the journey matters...
Babies learn through repetition, familiarity and gentle variation.
By returning to the same space, with the same group, over four weeks, the experience becomes deeper - not busier.
If the idea of a calm, connected four-week journey feels right for you and your baby, you’re warmly invited to join us.
Hi, I’m Izzy.
I created The Brainy Baby Club during early motherhood, when I found myself craving something quieter, slower, and more thoughtful — for my baby, and for me.
Wherever you are in early parenthood, you’re welcome here.
Whether you’re exhausted, in love, overstimulated, unsure - or all of it at once - this is a place to arrive as you are, without fixing or performing.
There’s room for you. And for your baby.
