Term 2 (June 2026)

Once Upon A Morning

WEEK 1

Francis the Fox opens a storybook…and we step into a magical, mystical world of fairytales.
As always, we start by settling in, saying hello and meeting Francis again. As the session unfolds, we sing familiar songs, move together and introduce gentle sensory elements throughout.
The first time your babies experience a new space it can be quite overwhelming for them, so we make this session deliberately slow and cosy for you and your little ones to settle in nicely.
The Hidden Valley

WEEK 2

Today the magical storybook has taken us deep into a hidden valley where dinosaurs roam freely but Francis is a little scared - will you come along with him to explore?
Expect stomping, rustling and lots of new prehistoric friends. Meanwhile, developmentally we build on last week with more movement and interaction - singing, stretching and encouraging babies to reach, grab and explore.
This is a great week to bring a few of our activities into your day at home - whether it’s a stretch or a song, it all helps your baby build new connections and feel more familiar and settled in class.
The Blue Lagoon

WEEK 3

This week the story book brings us somewhere new, shimmering and slightly mystical…and Francis has found some beautiful mermaids that would like to say hello!
This session brings together lots of glittery, floaty elements, alongside the songs, rhymes and movements you and your baby will now know and recognise.
There’s a bit of magic to week 3 - babies are more settled, and you might notice yourself feeling more relaxed and connected too.
Saved You a Spot

WEEK 4
As we turn the final page of our story… and arrive somewhere soft, warm and familiar After everything we’ve discovered, Francis leads us to a gentle little gathering - where a few cheeky teddy bears are already waiting.
This session focuses on connection - between you and your baby, and with the other mums around you. We move, sing and play together, with time to enjoy the space and each other.
It’s a lovely, unhurried way to end the journey, together.
BONUS: Townley Park Walk / Coffee Shop

WEEK 5
For our final gathering, we’ll meet in Townley Park together for a relaxed and informal pram walk with the other mums from our term.
This is a fab way to cement friendships and expand your mum-village and network outside of classes.

This is not a drop-in class. It’s a journey designed to unfold gently over time. Rather than one-off themes or stand-alone activities, the weeks are designed to flow - allowing babies to settle into a familiar rhythm while gradually exploring new sensory experiences.

Each booking secures your place for a full four-week term of The Brainy Baby Club. The journey is priced at £44, just £11 per class.

Lights & Stars

WEEK 1

Francis the Fox takes us up into space…
The room fills with glowing stars, moving lights and flickers of colour. Babies lie beneath it all, watching things drift, spin and shine above them.
Bubbles float through the “galaxy”, little aliens appear, and there’s so much to look at - it’s captivating from the very start.
Rustle & Reach

WEEK 2

On the way back down, Francis hears something… rustling in the trees.
We step into the jungle, surrounded by wildlife, swaying leaves, layered textures and things to grab, scrunch and explore.
Babies start reaching more now - pulling, touching, getting involved - as everything around them invites interaction.
Under The Sea

WEEK 3

We follow the sound of water… and slip beneath the surface.
Light ripples across the room, jellyfish float overhead, fish dart through the water and fabrics move like waves.
There’s familiar songs, new faces to meet and movement everywhere. Maybe even a SPLASH or two!
Together

WEEK 4
Finally, Francis leads us somewhere a little closer to home…
A cosy, café-style space where babies sit together, notice each other and begin to interact in new ways.
There’s a different kind of energy here - more social, more connected - as they start to take in the people around them too.
