Reflecting on our first term…

When I launched The Brainy Baby Club earlier this year, I had no idea what to expect.

I had a vision for the kind of class I wished had existed when my baby was tiny - somewhere thoughtful, welcoming and genuinely enjoyable for both babies and their grown-ups. A class that felt a little different. Less rushed. Less overwhelming. More like a story we experienced together each week.

Over the last four weeks, we've explored starry skies, jungles, oceans and cosy cafés. We've watched babies discover new textures, lights and sounds. We've celebrated little milestones, shared the ups and downs of motherhood, and watched friendships begin to form.

What I've loved most isn't the props or the themes (although I do love those too). It's been seeing the same faces return each week. Watching babies become familiar with one another. Seeing mums settle into the space and make it their own.

Starting a business while navigating motherhood has been equal parts exciting and terrifying. There have been moments where I've questioned everything and moments where I've felt incredibly proud. But every kind message, recommendation and returning booking has reminded me why I started.

So if you've joined us this term, thank you.

Thank you for trusting me with your Wednesday mornings. Thank you for embracing the stories, the bubbles, the songs and the inevitable baby chaos. Thank you for helping create the warm, supportive atmosphere I always hoped The Brainy Baby Club would have.

This first term was only the beginning, and I can't wait to see where the next chapter takes us.
